On the farm
This larger Snap-Green has a signature red fleck and a heartier, larger leaf than our petite Snap-Greens. Like the petite, this snap green has no spindly tendrils so the whole plant can be enjoyed.
On the table
Known affectionately by some chef’s as ‘The Lamborn’, this Snap-Green holds up very well with cooking and adds a touch of fresh pea flavor to many dishes. Snap-Greens can be used with other leafy greens or on their own to add an unexpected dimension cooked or raw.

Peas are a cool weather crop and is best planted early spring or late summer for fall pea greens.
The Lamborn Snap-Greens produce darker green leaves than the “Petite” with robust leaflets. The internodes (where the branches meet the stem) have a small fleck of red color.
Snap-Greens can be planted in soil, used in greenhouses or grown hydroponically. These peas like to branch out and take space around them so we recommend planting less seed for greens when planting in trays. Under idea conditions you should be able to harvest two crops. Very Small growth buds remain dormant above branches and will produce new growing tips once you harvest (cut) the growing tip (top) of the plant leaving a few branches behind.
